David B. Kunin, Chairman

Mr. Kunin was named Chairman in May 2015.  Since 1998, Kunin has been the chief executive officer of Beautopia LLC, a beauty products manufacturing business. From 1997 to 2011, he served as a director of Regis Corporation, the world’s largest owner and franchisor of hair salons. He spent ten years in sales and senior management positions for computer companies, contract manufacturing and printed circuit board fabrication. He serves as president of a family holding company, Curtis Squire, Inc., the owner of 49% of the Company’s outstanding common stock.

Richard G. Wasielewski, President & CEO

Mr. Wasielewski was named President and CEO in January 2014. Prior to that, he had been President and Chief Operating Officer since February 2013. He joined Nortech in 2004 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; he was named a Senior Vice President in 2008. From 2000 until his employment by the Company, he was Controller/Senior Director, Planning, Wholesale and Operations of Select Comfort Corporation, a manufacturer and retailer of premium air mattresses. He previously was the CFO/Vice President of Finance and Administration for Lycro Products, Inc., Wakarusa, Indiana, and held various senior financial management positions with The Toro Company from 1983 to 1995.

Curtis J. Steichen, Senior VP / Chief Marketing & Sales Officer

Mr. Steichen has been Senior Vice President/Chief Marketing & Sales Officer since January 2012. Prior to that, since November 2008, he was Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations. From May 2005 through October 2008, he was the Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Before joining Nortech Systems, he held North American and international sales and marketing assignments with Graco Inc. Industrial Automotive Equipment Division as Director of Sales and Marketing, Minneapolis. Prior to Graco, his background includes 10 years with the Hoffman Enclosures subsidiary of Pentair, Inc., Minneapolis, and 11 years with General Electric’s Electrical Distribution and Control Division, Plainville, Conn.

Connie Beck, Vice President & CFO

Ms. Beck was named Vice President & CFO in January 2018. Previously she was Vice President of Finance and Controller for MOCON, Inc., a public company. She was a member of MOCON’s senior leadership team, supporting strategic planning and international multi-site operations. Earlier, Beck held director-level financial reporting positions with public companies Navarre Corporation and Lakes Entertainment, Inc. She is a CPA and has over 10 years of public accounting experience.
