The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (CTSCA) was made to provide public information about manufacturers and retailers regarding their efforts to prevent human trafficking and slavery. This allows businesses and consumers to make more informed decisions regarding the companies they choose to conduct business and the products they choose to purchase.
Nortech is committed to conducting business only with suppliers who adhere to the highest standards of ethical behavior (CTSCA compliance). That also includes personal integrity within its business operations. Nortech itself stands against all forms of human trafficking and slavery. This includes any act of recruiting, harboring, transporting, providing or obtaining a person for compelled labor or commercial sex acts through the use of force, fraud, or coercion. Nortech has taken many actions to ensure that the materials and services provided to Nortech meets these commitments.
To partner with us, we require our suppliers to comply with the Nortech Supplier Code of Conduct. This also includes applicable Nortech policies and manuals like our Importers’ Forced Labor Policy, Anti-Corruption Policy and with all laws and regulations applicable to their business, including those laws relating to human trafficking and slavery. Nortech also has established accountability standards, including a Whistleblower Policy and reporting obligations. By doing this we ensure compliance and participation by Nortech’s suppliers in an effort to address and eliminate slavery and human trafficking.
