“I’ve worked at Nortech for five years. I started off as an intern while I was a student at the University of St. Thomas for a year and a half and then came on full time after graduating. I love being able to help patients (people) by designing medical devices using cutting-edge electronics and leading teams to innovate new healthcare technologies. I have been fortunate to been surrounded by experienced peers who have helped me learn and taught me all of the details and considerations that go into developing a medical device. Being able to work my way up from an intern to an Electrical Engineer and now as a Systems Engineer, I take pride in seeing all of the hard work and learning turn into career progress and development. I’ve been able to achieve some personal goals outside work such as getting married, traveling to other countries, adopting a puppy, and buying a house. The experience I have had at Nortech has allowed me to grow professionally and also allowed me to build a life outside the workplace that I love.”
